Dr. Nick spoofing with Michael Breed on The Golf Channel

I realized early on that  Dr.Nick’s approach was different. Dr. Nick doesn’t recite platitudes or promise quick fixes to his players. Instead, he puts them to work identifying the stumbling  blocks and limitations they placed on themselves. He then gives him specific changes to make or tasks to perform in order to push them past their limits. None of these fixes or one-time cures; they are lifelong changes that will take time and repetition to embed in an athlete’s mind. And for those who have listened-myself included-they have had amazing results. Dr. Nick is the real deal.”  Michael Breed

Dr. Nick’s methodology is highly data driven is assessing the players use of the mind-brain-body connection.  Attention to influencing the brains functioning is the most critical aspect of high performance contrary to the belief that confidence is.  He is frequently described as being unique in the field of sport psychology and specifically, Michael Breed writes, “I realized early on that  Dr.Nick’s approach was different. Dr. Nick doesn’t recite platitudes or promise quick fixes to his players. Instead, he puts them to work identifying the stumbling  blocks and limitations they placed on themselves. He then gives him specific changes to make or tasks to perform in order to push them past their limits.
